Nuestro viaje al mundo de la reproducción asistida nos ofrecía dos posibles destinos: una clínica en Francia, de donde somos mi pareja y yo, o IGIN, en Bilbao, de la que habíamos oído y leído muy buenas referencias.Tras reunirnos y pasar consulta con ambas, terminamos eligiendo a IGIN. Y eso que, como decía, soy francesa, pero debo reconocer que en cuanto a apoyo, atención, disponibilidad y avance médico este centro destaca sobre los demás. Con ellos también nos evitábamos todos los escollos y problemas a los que nos enfrentamos las pacientes las francesas en nuestro propio país.As for the clinic in particular, I have known them since 2018, when I went to have fertility preservation done at the age of 40. And today I am almost two months pregnant thanks to them and the first attempt.The journey was long because I had to postpone our IVF with Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis several times for various reasons (some medical) but we held on and above all we trusted them. They are the ones who have advised us best, indicating the ideal day for the transfer, ensuring that the optimal conditions were met.I can admit that we felt a certain amount of pressure because we only had one embryo (blastocyst), but we were counting on a good result from the pre-implantation test and on the experience and knowledge of the iGin team. And so, despite having only one attempt and the added difficulties, it worked on the first try.So thank you to the entire team at the clinic.
