What does hormone monitoring consist of?

It consists of testing key hormone levels, such as oestrogen, progesterone, luteinising hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) at specific times in the cycle. We can adjust some of them, which are essential for endometrial preparation and embryo development.

When is it used?

How is it done?

Hormone levels are tested during endometrial preparation prior to embryo transfer. It is important that these levels are within the right range because they influence the success of implantation. Following the tests, medication is adjusted to maintain the correct hormone levels and ensure a successful transfer.
